Will Kulling is the cofounder and co‑owner of Forward Revenue Management, where he leads firm strategy, operational structure, and client outcomes. As FRM’s primary financial and operational strategist, he works closely with practice leadership to bring clarity, predictability, and discipline to complex revenue environments.
Before founding FRM in January 2023, Will built a career in business operations, accounting systems, financial reporting, and process improvement. His work consistently focused on designing scalable systems, resolving operational inefficiencies, and bringing structure to environments where details matter and margins are tight. That foundation now informs FRM’s approach to healthcare revenue: methodical, transparent, and intentionally built rather than reactive.
Since entering healthcare, Will has worked extensively with mental health and group practices, applying proven operational and financial principles to a highly regulated, payer‑driven landscape. Rather than relying on legacy billing habits, he approaches revenue cycle management through systems thinking, accountability, and data‑driven decision‑making—ensuring practices understand not only what is happening financially, but why.
Will is licensed in Medical and Dental Billing and remains actively involved in complex client engagements, revenue performance analysis, and process design. He believes the most effective billing partnerships are built on trust, consistency, and long‑term alignment—not transactional service delivery.

Doreen Nuss is the cofounder and co‑owner of Forward Revenue Management, where she leads operational execution across enrollment, billing, payer engagement, and patient collections. She is responsible for ensuring revenue workflows are accurate, responsive, and consistently followed through—from initial verification to final payment resolution.
Prior to founding FRM in January 2023, Doreen built decades of experience in billing, accounting, and financial operations. Her career has been defined by hands‑on problem solving, operational discipline, and a deep understanding of how back‑office functions directly impact financial performance. That experience forms the backbone of FRM’s execution‑first approach to revenue cycle management.
Within FRM, Doreen plays a central role in managing insurer‑facing workflows. She spends significant time working directly with insurance companies on payment issues, billing questions, verifications, and claim resolution—ensuring payer‑related obstacles are actively addressed rather than allowed to stall revenue. Since August 2024, she has also led enrollment operations for complex mental health practices, overseeing detail‑intensive processes that require persistence, accuracy, and deep payer familiarity.
Doreen provides daily leadership and quality oversight for FRM’s billing team, mentoring staff and ensuring work is performed correctly, ethically, and consistently. She also oversees patient collections strategy, balancing firm but fair follow‑up with respectful, patient‑centered financial practices.
Licensed in Medical and Dental Billing, Doreen is known for her reliability, thoroughness, and steady presence. At FRM, her focus is straightforward: earn client trust through execution, ensure nothing falls through the cracks, and deliver dependable revenue outcomes that support long‑term practice stability.
